Shenmue III is not usually seen in large events such as E3, but does not hesitate to show up in events with less impact such as the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences (MAGIC). This is due to the influence of Shibuya Productions, a company based in the Principality of Monaco that together with Sony Interactive Entertainment and individual sponsors have helped fund the title. Last year, new images of the game were shown at the event, and in the 2019 edition, a new trailer.
Shenmue III will be available on August 27th 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
