If there's one thing to complain about in this demo, it's the lack of online multiplayer. Victory Heat Rally is like playing a retro arcade game on current hardware and published by one of the big companies such as Sega, Namco or Nintendo. VHR is being developed by Skydevilpalm, and published by Playtonic Friends. Since a few days ago you can download the demo from Steam and enjoy this arcade driving jewel for an unlimited period of time.
It perfectly combines the driving mechanics of Mario Kart or Sonic all Stars with the aesthetics of Daytona USA using the Pixel Art style with excellent results, in fact you only need to try the demo or watch the videos...
The driving is accurate and responsive once you understand the mechanics. The music and voices sound like they come straight out of the best arcade games of the late 90s. With no release date set, VHR will be available sometime this year for PC and Nintendo Switch.
Here is a personal video where I have been testing VHR and also the official one where they show the tracks.
